Closed trading to the community September 30 2012 and opened to the world!

The site of Macadamia House is renowned as the famous MacKellar Fuel stop, after the pine avenue on the old Bruce Highway. We extended the House to include an IGA Friendly Grocer convenience store, fuel, post office and cafe. Next door to the House sits our shed, where we sort and dry our nuts for processing.
Unfortunately the facility and cafe has been forced to close after the Fraser Coast Regional Council curiously signed a lease which restricted RV tourist sites from 30+ to 4+, making the local shop unsustainable.
